Akashi-Kaikyō Bridge and Awaji Island

Hyogo Prefecture:The Akashi Kaikyo Bridge also known as Pearl Bridge in Japan was completed in 1998 and is the world's longest suspension bridge (measured by the length of the centre span of 1,991 metres/6,532 feet).

Awaji Island is an island in the eastern part of the Seto Inland Sea between the islands of Honshu and Shikoku.

Himeji Castle is a flatland-mountain Japanese castle complex located in Himeji in Hyogo Prefecture and comprising 83 wooden buildings. It was registered as the first Japanese National Cultural Treasure by UNESCO World Heritage Site and a Japanese National Cultural Treasure in December, 1993.

Kobe Port Tower a hyperboloid structure, is a 108 metre high lattice tower in Kobe. Kobe Port Tower has an observation deck at a height of 90.28 metres.

The Akashi-Kaikyo Bridge was completed in 1998 and is the world's longest suspension bridge (measure by the length of the centre span of 1,991 metres (6,532 ft). It links the city of Kobe on the mainland of Honshu to Iwaya on Awaji Island by crossing the busy Akashi Strait. It carries the part of the Honshu-Shikoku Highway.
